Chocolate Fudge Cups
Ingredients:
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies
- 2 tbsp chocolate shavings, for topping
Instructions:
- Place 8 oz chopped semi-sweet chocolate and 1/2 cup heavy cream in a heatproof bowl. Melt the mixture using a double boiler, or in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring well after each one, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy with no lumps. Be careful not to overheat — if the chocolate looks thick, grainy, or seized rather than glossy, it's overheated and may not smooth back out.
- Let the chocolate mixture cool for about 10–15 minutes at room temperature. It's ready to use once it feels just barely warm to the touch (not hot) and has thickened slightly but is still pourable. This will make it easier to layer without affecting the cream layer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 4 oz softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat for about 1–2 minutes, stopping once to scrape down the sides of the bowl, until smooth, creamy, and free of lumps.
- Add a layer of 1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies to the bottom of each Square Dessert Cup. Divide the crumbs evenly among the 6 cups and gently press them down to create an even layer.
- Using a spoon, or a piping bag fitted with a large round tip (or a zip-top bag with about 1/2 inch snipped off the corner), spoon or pipe a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the crushed chocolate cookies, dividing it evenly among the cups — about 1½ tablespoons of cream cheese mixture per cup.
- Spoon a layer of the prepared chocolate fudge mixture over the cream cheese layer, dividing it evenly among the cups — about 2 tablespoons of chocolate fudge mixture per cup. This first round of layers will fill each cup about halfway. If desired, repeat the cookie, cream cheese, and chocolate layers once more, dividing any remaining ingredients evenly, until the cups are nearly full, leaving about 1/2 inch of space at the top.
- Sprinkle about 1 tsp of chocolate shavings over the top of each cup. Cover the cups and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until the dessert is well chilled and the layers have set.
- Serve chilled directly in the 5 oz Square Dessert Cups.
The 5 oz Square Dessert Cups make these chocolate fudge cups easy to portion, serve, and display. Their clean square shape gives a simple make-ahead dessert a polished, premium finish.

A rich chocolate fudge layer, a smooth sweetened cream cheese layer, and a crunch of crushed chocolate cookies come together for an indulgent, no-bake dessert with contrasting textures in every bite.
The clear square cups let every layer show through, so the chocolate and cream contrast is on full display before anyone even takes a bite.

Finished with chocolate shavings, these cups look just as good on a dessert table as they taste.
