- 500g heavy whipping cream
- 250g semisweet chocolate
- 250g heavy whipping cream
- semisweet chocolate chips

How to cook Halloween Ghosts Chocolate Mousse Dessert Cups
- 1. Heat cream over medium heat until bubbles form around the edges. Add the chocolate chips and whisk until chocolates are all melted.
- 2. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours or until very well chilled.
- 3. Once the cream is chilled, whip using a stand mixer or hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
- 4. Spoon and divide the mousse into 5oz mini coffee cups or 5.5 mini swirl cups.
- 1. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks. Transfer into a piping bag and pipe over chocolate mousse in a circular motion.
- 2. Decorate with chocolate chips for the ghosts' mouth and nose.
- 3. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator.
We made this recipe for chocolate mousse with very few ingredients, in fact, only two ingredients. The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your mousse will be. We used heavy whipping cream since it has higher fat content and your mousse will set more firm. We used semisweet chocolates but you can always substitute with dark or bittersweet chocolates. You might need to add powdered sugar when you do so, so make sure to taste it along the way.
